ADELEKE SUMMONS SECURITY CHIEFS OVER RISING CULT-RELATED KILLINGS IN OSUN

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has summoned the state’s security chiefs to an emergency meeting over the recent rise in killings linked to rival cult groups across the state.

The meeting is expected to focus on the growing security concerns and the need for a coordinated response to prevent further loss of lives and restore peace in affected communities.

The governor’s decision follows a series of violent incidents reportedly involving rival cult groups, which have raised concerns among residents and stakeholders.

Adeleke is expected to meet with heads of the various security agencies operating in the state to review the security situation, identify emerging threats and strengthen measures to curb cult-related violence.

The governor is also expected to receive briefings from the security chiefs on ongoing efforts to identify those responsible for the killings and bring perpetrators to justice.

The state government has urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies by providing useful information that could assist in preventing further violence.

The meeting is expected to produce additional security measures aimed at protecting lives and property across Osun State.
