Recruitment of Teachers into Ekiti State Public Primary and Basic Schools

The Ekiti State Government has announced the recruitment of qualified teachers into public primary and basic schools across the state as part of efforts to strengthen the education sector and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
The recruitment exercise, being coordinated by the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (EKSUBEB), is aimed at filling vacancies in public primary and junior secondary schools with competent and qualified teachers.
Prospective applicants are expected to meet the stipulated qualifications and follow the application guidelines released by the board. The government urged interested candidates to ensure that all required documents are submitted within the specified application period.
The initiative is in line with the state government’s commitment to improving access to quality education, reducing teacher shortages, and enhancing learning outcomes for pupils in public schools across Ekiti State.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (EKSUBEB), Mr. Mike Omolayo, reaffirmed the board’s commitment to conducting a transparent and merit-based recruitment process. He encouraged eligible applicants to take advantage of the opportunity while adhering strictly to the guidelines provided.
The board further assured residents that the recruitment exercise is designed to strengthen the education workforce and support the delivery of quality basic education throughout Ekiti State.
