The immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on State Capital and Human Development Authority, Hon. Ogunleye Olakunle Olanrewaju, has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s leadership, saying his administration has placed Ekiti State on the path of progress.

Ogunleye also expressed appreciation to the governor for the opportunity to serve in his administration, describing his appointment and time in government as a privilege to contribute to the development of the state.

He spoke in a statement made available to PRECISE NEWS following Governor Oyebanji’s announcement on Sunday of the dissolution of boards and commissions and the termination of appointments of political appointees, including Special Assistants, Senior Special Assistants and Technical Assistants.

Ogunleye said his service under the administration provided him with valuable experience and an opportunity to contribute to the development of Ekiti and the welfare of its people.

He commended Oyebanji for what he described as the governor’s leadership style and commitment to the development of the state, expressing confidence that the administration would continue to implement programmes and policies aimed at improving the lives of the people.

Ogunleye wished the governor sound health, wisdom, God’s guidance and favour as he prepares to commence his second term in office.

He also congratulated Oyebanji on his transition into a second term and expressed confidence in his continued efforts towards advancing the development of Ekiti State.

The former aide appreciated political leaders, community leaders, friends, associates and people of his constituency for their support, advice, encouragement and prayers throughout his tenure.

Ogunleye said he remained grateful to everyone who contributed to his success in office, noting that the support he received from various quarters strengthened him in the discharge of his responsibilities.

He pledged to continue contributing his quota to the development and progress of Ekiti State in whatever capacity he may be called upon to serve.
