Jagabanist Support Group Pledges Nationwide Mobilisation for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election.

The National Coordinator of Jagabanist Support Group, Barrister Temitayo Omotayo, has pledged nationwide grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Omotayo said the group would work through its state coordinators and grassroots structures to mobilise eligible voters and encourage greater participation in the presidential election.

He made the pledge at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in Ado-Ekiti Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

The National Coordinator disclosed that Jagabanist Support Group was established in 2022 and registered in Abuja, with coordinators and members spread across the country.

He said he would personally intensify mobilisation efforts in Ekiti State, where he hails from, while working with coordinators in other states to extend the group’s activities nationwide.

Reflecting on the last governorship election in Ekiti State, Omotayo observed that voter turnout was relatively low despite the popularity and public support enjoyed by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

He said the development highlighted the need for sustained voter education and grassroots engagement to ensure that political support translates into actual votes on election day.

Omotayo consequently urged members of the group and other stakeholders to intensify community-level mobilisation, engage residents and encourage eligible voters to participate in the 2027 elections.

He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to working with its nationwide network of coordinators and other stakeholders to mobilise support for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima.
