Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has revealed that his first grandson is currently not interested in joining the family business, preferring to gain professional experience at KPMG.

Dangote disclosed this while speaking about succession, family and the future of his business empire.

According to him, his grandson has chosen to pursue his own professional path for now rather than immediately joining the family business.

The billionaire said he respects the young man’s decision to gain experience outside the family enterprise, noting that working in a professional environment could provide valuable exposure.

Dangote’s comments come amid discussions around succession and the next generation of leaders within the Dangote business group.
