The Nigerian Navy has commenced recruitment for the 2026 Batch 39 Nigerian Navy Basic Training School.The recruitment exercise will run from October 2 to October 31, 2026, according to a recruitment notice signed by the Navy Secretary.

The Navy said the application process, including online registration and other recruitment procedures, is free of charge.Interested and qualified Nigerians have been advised to apply through the Navy’s official recruitment portal.

The Navy warned applicants against paying money to individuals in connection with the recruitment exercise.It also stated that each applicant is permitted to submit only one application, adding that multiple applications would result in disqualification.

Applicants must also be able to communicate effectively in basic English Language, as inability to do so may lead to disqualification at any stage of the recruitment process.

Successful applicants will undergo basic military training and, upon completion, be recruited into the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen.
