An advocacy group has called on the Ondo State Government to improve transparency and accountability in governance while addressing challenges affecting healthcare, water supply and labour relations across the state.

The group made the call while highlighting areas it said require greater attention from the state government to improve the wellbeing of residents.

It urged the government to strengthen access to quality healthcare services and improve the availability of potable water, particularly in communities facing persistent shortages.

The advocacy group also called for greater transparency in government activities, stressing the importance of keeping citizens informed about public policies, projects and the use of public resources.

On labour relations, the group urged the government to strengthen engagement with labour unions and other stakeholders to promote dialogue and address workers’ concerns.

It further called for sustained collaboration between the government and citizens to ensure that development initiatives reflect the needs of communities across Ondo State.
