Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode has urged couples to look beyond physical attributes when considering sexual satisfaction, stressing the importance of communication, patience and mutual understanding in intimate relationships.
Olayode, in a lengthy post on her Instagram page, said sexual fulfilment was not determined by a man’s physical attributes alone but involved vulnerability, understanding and a willingness by partners to learn each other’s needs.
The actress maintained that couples did not have to understand every aspect of intimacy before marriage, noting that partners could discover their preferences and develop a fulfilling intimate relationship together.
Known for her advocacy for sexual purity, Olayode also cautioned against allowing concerns about sexual compatibility to make individuals compromise their religious convictions.
She argued that abstaining from sex before marriage would not put anyone at a disadvantage, adding that premarital sex neither guarantees sexual satisfaction nor ensures a successful marriage.
Olayode further explained that purity should be driven by love for God and a commitment to biblical teachings, rather than treated as an exchange for a perfect marriage.
She acknowledged that individuals might have different experiences, fears and questions but maintained that God’s Word should remain the standard for Christian conduct.
