OYEBANJI, SENATE LEADER OPEYEMI BAMIDELE JOIN DEJI FASUAN AT 95TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, is currently at the Ado-Ekiti residence of elder statesman and Chairman of the Committee for the Creation of Ekiti State, Chief Deji Fasuan, to celebrate his 95th birthday.

Also present at the birthday celebration is the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, who joined the governor, family members, political leaders, friends and other well-wishers to honour the respected elder statesman.

The gathering is taking place today in Ado-Ekiti as Chief Fasuan marks the remarkable milestone, providing an opportunity for leaders and citizens to celebrate his life, service and contributions to the development of Ekiti State.

Chief Deji Fasuan remains one of the prominent figures associated with the struggle for the creation of Ekiti State.

As Chairman of the Committee for the Creation of Ekiti State, he played an important role in the historic efforts that eventually led to the establishment of Ekiti State.

Governor Oyebanji’s presence at the celebration reflects the recognition accorded to the elder statesman and his contributions to the state over the years.
