Wife of former Vice President and Peoples Democratic Party presidential hopeful, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Titi Abubakar, has urged Nigerian youths to support her husband’s presidential ambition in the 2027 general election.

Speaking during an engagement with youths, Titi expressed confidence that Atiku’s experience and leadership vision would earn him the support of Nigerians and make voters demand his return for a second term.

She said young Nigerians, who constitute a significant portion of the country’s electorate, should give Atiku the opportunity to address challenges affecting them, particularly unemployment, education and economic hardship.

“Vote Atiku and you’ll want him back for a second term. He understands your pains and he has the capacity to turn things around,” she said.

Titi also advised youths not to be carried away by short-term political promises, urging them instead to consider competence, experience and proven records of service when choosing their preferred candidate.

She maintained that the 2027 presidential election would be crucial to determining the future of Nigerian youths, insisting that Atiku remains the candidate she believes can provide effective leadership and create better opportunities for young people.

Her appeal comes amid increasing political mobilisation and positioning by political parties and aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
