A 25-year-old man has died after a building collapsed during demolition in Otolo-Nnewi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The incident reportedly occurred while demolition work was ongoing at the building, trapping the victim beneath the collapsed structure.The victim was subsequently recovered from the debris, but was confirmed dead following the collapse.
