Adeleke is APC puppet; says VeryDarkman.

Social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has accused Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, of being a political ally of the All Progressives Congress, APC, despite his previous political differences with the party.

VDM made the allegation in a video posted on his official Instagram handle on Thursday, following reports that Adeleke had endorsed President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

The activist claimed that Adeleke’s reported appointment as Osun State coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a group supporting Tinubu, showed that the governor had always been aligned with the APC.

VeryDarkMan further alleged that the political contest between Adeleke, who contested under the Accord Party, and the APC candidate in the last Osun governorship election was not what it appeared to be.

He described the election as an internal contest between political allies, claiming that Adeleke had avoided openly declaring his support for the APC because of the potential electoral consequences.

VDM also alleged that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, contacted Adeleke before and after the election and encouraged him to meet President Tinubu.

The activist further accused Afrobeats star, Davido, who is Adeleke’s nephew, of attempting to emotionally influence Osun voters through his social media posts during the election.

However, the allegations remain claims made by the activist and have not been independently established.
