Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Calabar, Cross River State, to lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally.

Shettima’s aircraft landed at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport at about 12:10 pm, where he was received by Governor Bassey Otu, members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and other party stakeholders, alongside supporters from across the state and the South-South region.

The Vice President and members of the campaign council subsequently visited the palace of the Obong of Calabar, Edidem Ekpo Okon Asasi Otu the Fifth, before proceeding to the Calabar Stadium, venue of the rally.

Traditional dance and drumming performances by local cultural groups added colour to the reception as APC supporters gathered at the stadium for the campaign event.
