The Ekiti State House of Assembly will on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, hold a public hearing as part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of the creation of Ekiti State.

A statement by the Chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs and Chairman of the Anniversary Committee, Hon. Babatunde Oke, said the event will provide residents and other stakeholders with an opportunity to assess the growth and development recorded in the state over the past three decades.

Oke said the public hearing is also designed to reflect on Ekiti State’s journey over the last 30 years and chart a course for its future development.

The event will hold at the Chamber of the Ekiti State House of Assembly from 11 a.m.Invited stakeholders are expected to arrive by 10 a.m. for accreditation, while members of the public are to be seated by 10:30 a.m.
