Ekiti State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, is strengthening the state government’s healthcare transformation agenda through strategic partnerships with international development organisations and other key stakeholders.

Filani’s efforts are focused on attracting development support and opportunities that can complement the health initiatives of the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and improve access to quality healthcare for residents across the state.

The Commissioner has continued to engage development partners with the aim of connecting Ekiti’s healthcare needs with global expertise, resources and intervention programmes.

The partnerships are expected to support the state’s efforts to improve healthcare delivery and make health services more accessible to residents, particularly across communities.

Despite the administration’s first term gradually approaching its final phase, Filani has continued to pursue opportunities capable of sustaining ongoing reforms and interventions in the health sector.

His engagements with development partners form part of efforts to ensure that healthcare remains a key priority of the administration and that progress recorded in the sector continues to benefit residents across Ekiti State.
