Award-winning Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has partnered with social media platform Facebook to promote her forthcoming cinema release, The Four: No One Fights Alone.

Akindele announced the partnership on her verified Instagram page on Thursday, saying the collaboration would help expand the film’s global reach ahead of its nationwide cinema release.

As part of the partnership, the filmmaker will share exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, premiere appearances and firsthand updates about the movie through her official Facebook pages.

Announcing the collaboration, Akindele expressed excitement about taking the project to a wider audience, while appreciating fans for their continued support of her films over the years.

“We’re taking THE FOUR to the world, and @Facebook is coming with us!” she wrote.

She also encouraged fans to follow her official pages for exclusive content and updates ahead of the film’s release.

Produced under Funke Akindele Network (FAAN) and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, The Four: No One Fights Alone explores themes of friendship, motherhood and resilience.The movie features a star-studded cast, including Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji and Ali Nuhu.Nigerian singers Waje and Shoday also feature in the production.The film is scheduled to hit cinemas nationwide on December 11, 2026, with advance ticket sales already underway.Akindele’s announcement has attracted congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, including media personality Broda Shaggi and actresses Destiny Etiko and Mo Bimpe.The Facebook partnership is expected to give audiences access to exclusive promotional content and offer a closer look at the production ahead of its cinema debut.
