Oyebanji Urges Muslims to Support Tinubu’s Re-election

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has urged Muslims in the state to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing the Federal Government’s interventions in Ekiti.

Oyebanji made the appeal on Friday during a Jumat thanksgiving service at the Central Mosque, Ado-Ekiti, as part of activities marking the beginning of his second term.

The governor also pledged to give more members of the Muslim community opportunities to serve in his administration, while thanking them for their prayers and support during his first term.

Oyebanji commended Muslim appointees for their contributions to his administration, saying he consulted the Grand Imam before appointing some of them.

He urged the Muslim community to continue praying for his administration and support efforts aimed at promoting peace, unity and development in the state.

The service was attended by the Deputy Governor, Monisade Afuye; Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele; SSG, Habibat Adubiaro; members of the State Executive Council and other dignitaries.
