The Lagos State Police Command has uncovered a suspected high-tech indoor cannabis farm at a residential property in Apapa, Lagos, arresting a 49-year-old Polish national and a 36-year-old Nigerian.

The suspects, identified as Thomas Razvickas and James Chisome, were arrested on November 2, 2026, at about 8:15 a.m., following intelligence received by police operatives.

The police spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, explaining that the facility was equipped with sophisticated equipment for cultivating, harvesting and processing suspected cannabis.

She said both suspects, who were residents of the property, were in police custody and had made confessional statements while providing useful information to assist ongoing investigations.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, CP Tijani Fatai, visited the facility to assess the operation and receive briefings on the investigation.

He commended the operatives for their vigilance and effective use of intelligence.

Fatai reiterated the command’s commitment to combating drug-related offences and dismantling criminal networks across the state, urging residents to provide credible information that could assist the police in identifying and apprehending criminals.
