Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has vowed to return to filmmaking after making her celebrity boxing debut against reality television star Phyna.

Blessing lost the bout by knockout but described her participation as a courageous achievement, noting that she had only two days of training before stepping into the ring.

In a post shared on Instagram on Friday, the actress maintained that the outcome of the fight would not diminish her sense of accomplishment.

“Still a CHAMPION regardless of the result… even the blind knows who the winner is,” she wrote.“Now let’s go back to making movies cus I no be boxer.”

Despite her defeat, Blessing expressed willingness to participate in another celebrity boxing contest, indicating that the experience had not discouraged her from returning to the ring.

“Will I do this again? OH YES,” she wrote in a separate post.Reflecting on her debut, the actress said she had never raised her hands to fight anyone before the contest but managed to overcome her fears and face the challenge with courage.

She described her performance as fighting like a warrior despite being unfamiliar with the sport.Blessing also dedicated the experience to her late mother, Gloria Obasi Sunday, revealing that she had wanted her mother to be part of the memorable moment.
