An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has denied allegations that former Zamfara State Governor, Abdul’aziz Yari, is sponsoring the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Bilyaminu Shinkafi.

The APC chieftain dismissed the claims linking Yari to Shinkafi’s governorship ambition, insisting that the former governor was not backing the ADC candidate.

The allegation had generated political discussions in Zamfara State amid growing attention on party alignments and potential alliances ahead of the next governorship election.

However, the APC chieftain’s denial challenges claims of Yari’s alleged involvement in the ADC candidate’s political campaign.
