Daddy Freeze Appeals to Nigerian Army Over Soldiers Arrested After Peller’s Wedding

Media personality Daddy Freeze has appealed to the Nigerian Army to release soldiers reportedly arrested following their involvement in providing security during the traditional wedding of TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis in Lagos.
According to Daddy Freeze, the wedding attracted a massive crowd that surrounded the convoy of celebrities and other guests as they arrived at the outdoor venue. He said the soldiers intervened to control the crowd and ensure the safety of everyone present, preventing what could have turned into a chaotic situation.
While acknowledging that the soldiers may have acted outside their official military responsibilities, Daddy Freeze maintained that their actions were in the interest of protecting lives and property. He argued that the officers responded to an immediate security concern and helped restore order at the venue.
Daddy Freeze also questioned the welfare of military personnel, suggesting that poor remuneration may contribute to situations where soldiers seek unofficial assignments. He appealed to the Nigerian Army to temper justice with mercy in handling the matter.
He further urged celebrities who attended the wedding or witnessed the incident to come together and sign a formal petition asking the Nigerian Army to grant clemency and release the detained soldiers. According to him, the officers deserve consideration for the role they played in ensuring the event ended without major security incidents.
