Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected Commands and Formations of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Force announced the deployments on its official X handle on Friday, describing them as part of efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible police information and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders.

Under the new postings, Superintendent of Police Johnson A. Doghudje has been appointed Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 5.

SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji has been posted to Zone 11, Osogbo, while Deputy Superintendent of Police Orchia Adndongu has been assigned to the Benue State Police Command.

Another Deputy Superintendent of Police, Imah Unwana Victor, has been posted to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre.

The police said the deployments would promote effective information dissemination and strengthen collaboration between the Force, the media and members of the public across the affected Commands and Formations.
