President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos after concluding his extended working vacation in France.

The President returned to Nigeria on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, after spending about four weeks in Europe, first in London and later in Paris.

Tinubu is expected to remain in Lagos for official engagements, including activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary on October 1.

The Presidency had earlier announced that the President would participate in Independence Day activities in Lagos, including a national broadcast and the premiere of a documentary on the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.

The President’s return marks the end of his European working vacation, during which he also held engagements with French President Emmanuel Macron and business leaders in France.
