Manchester City have formally appealed the Premier League Commission’s decision in the club’s disciplinary case.
The club confirmed that it filed its comprehensive appeal at 7pm on Thursday, October 1, challenging the Commission’s findings on several grounds.
City said the decision contains “clear material errors” of law, principle and fact, describing it as unsafe.
The club also maintained that it is innocent of the allegations made by the Premier League, saying the evidence supports its position.
Manchester City said it would continue to respect due process but noted that it is limited in what it can say publicly while the case remains ongoing.
