The Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Corps Commander Oludare Ogunjobi, is dead.

The FRSC disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday and signed by its Public Relations Officer, Chief Route Commander Afolabi Odunsi.

The command said Ogunjobi died following a brief illness, describing his death as a great loss to the corps, his colleagues and the road safety community.

It noted that the late sector commander would be remembered for his leadership, commitment to road safety administration and dedication to the mandate of the FRSC.

According to the statement, Ogunjobi contributed to efforts to promote safer roads, improve public enlightenment, strengthen stakeholder engagement and ensure compliance with traffic regulations during his service.

The command also expressed condolences to his family, loved ones, colleagues and associates, praying that God would grant them the strength to bear the loss.

It added that details of his funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course.
