Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has said that while marriage should not be regarded as a measure of success, the ability to afford it at a young age is an achievement worthy of recognition.

Daddy Freeze made the remarks while commending TikTok star Peller for his decision to marry fellow content creator and influencer, Jarvis, at a relatively young age.

Speaking during a recent video broadcast, the media personality argued that financial readiness for marriage deserves praise, regardless of a person’s academic background or the type of content they create online.

According to him, many critics who mock Peller as being uneducated and accuse him of producing “brain-rot” content are themselves unable to meet the financial responsibilities associated with marriage, including paying a bride price.

“Marriage itself is not a measure of success, but being able to afford it at a young age like Peller is,” Daddy Freeze said.

His comments have since sparked discussions on social media, with users expressing differing opinions on whether financial capacity, rather than marriage itself, should be considered a significant personal achievement.
